Cylinder Grinding:
Maintaining a cutting edge is vitally important in the life cycle of both the grass and the machine itself.
It’s important that cutting equipment is kept sharp as the cleaner the cut, the better the grass plant recovers. As well as looking ragged, a leaf which has been torn is more prone to infection and attacks from diseases such as Fusarium and Anthracnose. With most of the cutting taking place in the early morning, when there is often a heavy dew on the grass, a mower which has gone “off cut” is very noticeable.
We have two grinding machines that we use for sharpening and Bernhard grinding equipment to sharpen the cutting cylinder and the bottom blade.
ATV & SSV SERVICING:
Make the most of being in control, when it comes to your maintenance programme. We offer 2 Service Packages for both quad bikes and Side by Side Vehicles. We will provide an in-depth service including engine oil, filters (if required), spark plugs, clutch lubrication & a visual check of the lights. Our Technicians will assess the cooling system, tyre pressures and operation of the brakes including a visual inspection for wear. They will also examine and torque the wheels. The transmission, ball joints, bushes and suspension are assessed and adjusted as required. All CVT components are checked. Full diagnostics will be completed along with the electrical components. Your machine will be cleaned, lubricated and tested for correct operation. *Rear axle oil and all differential oils changed at 2nd service. **Service package dependent upon vehicle hours – please check at time of booking.
Mower Servicing:
An all-inclusive service including oil, filters, spark plug & fuel/cooling system. Our Technicians will check & inspect the condition of all belts, bearings & pulleys. They will also check & adjust decks, front wheel alignment & tyres. Your machine will be cleaned, lubricated and fully tested for correct operation.* Excludes Power Collector
Compact Tractor Servicing:
Our technicians will complete a comprehensive service including oil and all filters. A thorough check of the cooling system and electrical connections will be carried out along with an inspection (and torque) of wheel nuts and drawbar hardware. Your machine will be cleaned, lubricated and tested for correct operation.
Pedestrian Cylinder Mower:
Our technicians will provide a full service, strip down and check over of your machine. They will complete a cylinder regrind, a bottom blade grind (if possible) and set the cylinder. Your machine will be cleaned down and fully checked for the correct operation.
Pedestrian Walk Behind Mowers, Tillers & Generators:
An in-depth service including oil, filters, spark plug & fuel/cooling system. Our Technicians will check & inspect the condition of all belts, bearings & pulleys. They will also check & inspect the blade and adjust control cables. Your machine will be cleaned, lubricated and fully tested for correct operation. *Self Propelled – full check of drive system.
Strimmer, Blower & Hedgecutter Servicing:
A comprehensive engine service and retune. Our technicians will complete a check, drain and flush of the carburettor and fuel system. Your machine will be cleaned and fully checked over for correct operation. *Excludes hedgecutter blade sharpening **Power unit only
Chainsaw Servicing:
Our Technicians will provide a full engine service and retune as well as sharpening the chain and redressing the bar. Your machine will be stripped, cleaned and fully checked over for correct operation.
Machine Security:
We offer an extensive range of vehicle security from Datatags to immobilisers & trackers, with a viable option for all machinery types. With the Turney iTrack system, you are in control, with full access to geographical information and service alerting.
Fixed Price Servicing:
We recognise our role in ensuring your equipment is ready for the new season and so have put together a range of special rates and services tailored to servicing and upgrading your equipment through the winter months.
After a particularly hard season, our experienced Turney Group technicians don’t just service your machinery, they provide a comprehensive investigation and overhaul. With the Turney Group’s specialised Winter Service program, you can benefit from easy and convenient ways to get your equipment ready for the busy seasons ahead.
We are offering fixed price servicing across all products. If you require additional information, contact your local Service Manager to discuss service packages and receive a no obligation quote. *Our fixed price Winter Service Packages include parts and labour. Any additional parts and labour used to repair pre-existing faults, outside of the fixed price package, will be estimated for repair. Once customer approval has been granted the work will be completed at the normal hourly rate.
