One beautiful day, 14 incredible Mowers.
Ariens and AS-Motor, both brands under the AriensCo umbrella, hosted an inspiring event at The Oxfordshire Golf Hotel & Spa this Wednesday – one stop on their 13 stop AriensCo 2025 Roadshow tour across Europe. The Turney Pro Groundcare sales team and customers were delighted to get stuck in.
With Ariens specializing in Zero-Turn mowers, focusing on speed, precision and versatility for lawn care, and AS-Motor exceling in high grass and challenging terrain mow machinery, there was a grand plethora of immersive machines to learn about, look at, and even have a go at.
After a well-crafted PowerPoint and speech from Sam Lewis, AriensCo UK general manager, an opportunity to catch up with clients and dealerships within the Groundcare industry, and a delicious array of bacon baps were wolfed down, Turney got out on the field for the 14 incredible AriensCO mowers.
Turney met Ariens Arrow 32 ‘The precise’, a compact stand-on zero-turn mower built for speed and precision, Ariens Summit Pro 572 ‘The undisputed leader’, best suited for extreme area performance and large-scale professional use, Ariens Summit Pro 353 ‘The all-rounder’, for professional landscapers seeking the perfect balance between power, deck size and efficiency, and Ariens Zenith 60 ‘The professional’, with maximum cutting width and high-speed performance – all with optional and exceptional mulching installation available.
After riding around at high-speeds, feeling the wind in our hair and thoroughly enjoying ourselves the crowd consensus was that the mowers were comfortable and adjustable for even the tallest amongst us, with air ride comfort seats fitted in the Pro 572 and full-suspension seats in the Pro 352, powerful, all decked with 600-850cc Kawasaki® engines, and versatile, with the Arrow 32 and Zenith 60 having 15 cutting positions and ranges of optional accessories available.
Next came the AS-Motor ‘E’s’, the excellent, electric hand-held mowers and weed removers. With fuel and climate change being a prevalent topic of today, AriensCo is onboard with the movement towards Electric, providing products with quieter operations, lower maintenance requirements and reduced environmental impacts.
The AS 63 EAllmäher with its automatic parking brake and high cutting capacity mows and mulches in one step with a cross-blade system whilst delivering ultimate propulsion. The AS 510 EProClip is a professional mulching lawn mower, low-noise, low-emissions saving up to 30% of your time and supplied with energy by two 10Ah hand batteries providing 1.120 watt-hours of energy. The AS60 EWeedHex tackles the challenge of bans on harmful herbicides, efficiently removing weeds on paved areas with mechanical weed brushes, high torque (to reduce stone throwing) and convenient hand lever adjustment, whilst the AS30 EWeedHex  focuses on removing weeds on uneven surfaces such as cobblestones, walls and kerb stones in narrow areas – fitted with a quick-change battery system and without brushes to keep noise to an absolute minimum.
After a short walk across the beautiful grounds of the course the Flail mowers came into sight, a must see at the AriensCo 2025 Roadshow. Turney was greeted by a robust AS 1040 Yak 4WD, engineered for uneven, rough and steep terrain and capable of shredding grass up to 1.5 metres tall, an advanced AS 920 ESherpa 2WD, an electric mower with hydrostatic transmission allowing for the precise adaptation of speed to match the terrain and cross-blade system for impressive mulching results and the AS 701 SM, a hand-held flail mulcher with 4 operating levers, achieving work rates of up to 2,500 m² per hour.
Finally, Turney got the opportunity to see, and more importantly use, the AS radio-controlled mower range. Mowing extreme slopes with dense vegetation is physically demanding, time consuming and often risky, resulting in operator fatigue and machine wear but AS-Motor have successfully tackled these issues. Their radio mowers destroy anything standing in their way, turning complete bramble and overgrowth into levelled grass whilst protecting the user.
The AS 940 Sherpa 4WD RC is the world’s first ride-on mower with remote control, offering extra safety and convenience in difficult terrain. The Sherpa allows you to exit the vehicle when faced with a dangerous slope. It also has 5 adjustable cut levels, a low centre of gravity, a folding bar and branch deflectors for ultimate safety and versatility. The AS 1000 Ovis EVO RC differs from the basic model, fully remote-controlled and developed to offer the highest mowing performance and most compact design with intuitive operation and a need for only simple maintenance. The newly developed AS 990 Tahr RC high-grass mower with caterpillar drive and super grip crawler tracks delivers unmatched efficiency on slopes of up to 50º without the need to turn after each lane.
After working up quite the appetite we headed inside for some lunch, chatting all the way about the quality of information shared and the fun we had. We both thank AriensCO for the day out (and the lunchtime chips!) and wish them luck with the continuation of their AriensCo 2025 roadshow.Â
